About Sweet Life

We are, first and foremost, story-tellers. Our client is history; our job is to document the origins of a family that a wedding creates. We are committed to providing an unmatched level of customer service and accept a limited number of wedding commissions in order to meet this goal..  We believe that there are opportunities for both unposed and camera-aware techniques throughout the wedding day and make use of both when appropriate.

Most clients are not fashion models and start out uncomfortable being photographed, so we work hard to build a relationship of friendship and trust to make the process as easy and enjoyable for them as possible. When our clients sit down with their wedding album on their 50th anniversary, we want them to not only appreciate the artistry and timelessness of their images, but to remember us as people who were energetic yet calming, relaxed yet single-minded about photographing the day and brought a positive attitude to our every interaction. We truly believe we have the best job in the world!

Elizabeth Myers has been photographing people professionally since 1997. In 2003 she fell in love with wedding photography when she had the honor of photographing her grandmother's second wedding.  She loves engagement sessions and always cries a little bit at each wedding she shoots!

Frank Myers is Elizabeth's trusted second shooter, business manager and technical guru. Frank is a veteran sports and nature photographer, is a master at action shots and can often be found out on the dance floor during the reception

shooting from the hip and having more fun than should be legal at work.

Elizabeth and Frank use a portrait journalism style of photography. This style blends photojournalism, which emphasizes no interference and candid only images, with traditionalism. Elizabeth and Frank's work has appeared in numerous publications including the Tampa Tribune, Orlando Sentinel, Miami Herald, and Raleigh N&O to name a few.
